Love...

A couple of days ago Ryan and I celebrated our 1 Year Anniversary. Although the celebration was rather lackluster, (we were in 2 separate cars driving 12 hours from UT to CA), it gave me time to reflect upon this last year of my life with this incredible man. A year has passed since the day I married him. Easily the best year of my life because he was right there by my side. I wake up happy every day knowing he that he is next to me- making me his famous scrambled eggs, handing me diet coke and green juice, forcing me out of bed with his handsome smile. I look at him and wonder how he is mine.

  Thank you, Ryan, for choosing me and for continuing to choose me every day. I got the best one. I have no idea how that happened. You make everyday in my life brighter. Thank you for including me in every decision, big or little. For caring for my happiness above your own. You are the most selfless man I know. Your compassion, love and kindess know no bounds. Your determination, passion for life and work ethic astounds me. You reassure me on days when I am thinking too much. You have brought a sense of calm and peace to my life I have never known before. Thank you for that. I didn't expect to know you the way I do, how close we have become was incomprehensible to me before. I am looking forward to each year bringing us even closer. Thank you for bringing more joy into my life than I thought possible.  I thank God for you each and every day.
