Birthday

I love parties and celebrations more than anything. Any semi-significant event, or achievement in my friends and families lives, I want to celebrate. I use every excuse I can to be baking, or buying flowers, or cards, or putting together presents for people we love. BUT when it comes to my birthday, it just feels different. Every year I kind of dread that day. I am a year older, supposedly wiser, and its not super comfortable for me to be the one "celebrated" instead of the one "celebrating"! Then each year I am blown away by the love and generosity of my friends and family. So thank you, for thinking of me and for making my day so so so special. And a big thank you to my sweet husband who made each moment of that day memorable.
Ryan woke me up with an ice cold Diet Coke instead of my normal green juice, best wake up call ever.

We spent our afternoon at the Tulip Festival at Thanksgiving Point

Ryan brought a picnic lunch comprised of my favorite foods, including, Caprese Salad ingredients

How did I get so lucky?

I was able to attend my sweet sister's BRIDAL SHOWER!!!
It was so fun being able to celebrate her and the exciting upcoming nuptials. She is such an amazing woman and mother and she now has an incredible man by her side!

Because my sister is moving to NY with her soon to be husband, the shower was NY themed. To coordinate with that theme Aunt Susan put together a salad bar and home made pizzas (all with ingredients fresh from her garden.)

It was such an incredible, fun filled and happy day.
