Viva Las Vegas

I hate that we live so far away from so many of my best friends. They are all over the country currently. Actually, the world. (Madrid, Australia, San Diego, Los Angeles, Las Vegas...you get the picture)
This last weekend we were able to spend some time with one of my best girlfriends, her wonderful husband and their darling little girl. It was the best. Chelsea and I met when we were 18 years old, and although many years have passed, not much has changed between us. I don't think we stopped talking from the moment we arrived until we had to leave. Thank goodness both of our husbands are sports fanatics and did just fine on their own. Their baby girl Quinn is a year old and the tiniest, spunkiest little thing. I couldn't get enough of her sweet faces, funny noises and adorable giggles. They spoiled us in Vegas with warm weather, a fabulous dinner at Nacho Daddy, great recommendations for rest of our weekend on the Strip, a lot of Quinn time (not enough), and plenty of laughter, chatting and reminiscing. Thank you guys!

We spent rest of the weekend on Las Vegas Blvd wandering through each hotel, shopping  eating, winning money, shopping, eating, losing money, shopping and eating some more.
We had dinner at Joe's Seafood, Steak and Stone Crab on Saturday night. If you haven't been, it's a must. Thanks to my older brothers recommendation we ordered the stone crab claws, side of hash browns, crab cakes, and a whole seafood platter (fried of course- I am married to a Texan, after all).
Word from the "not so wise", don't wait until the same day to make a reservation. I called Saturday morning and we didn't get a reservation until 9:30pm. ( I was ready for bed at 8:30pm, Vegas Fail).
We spent Easter walking around, soaking up the 85 degree weather, enjoying a gondola ride at the Venetian, and then finishing up our trip eating our bodys weight in food at Hash House A Go Go.
